This two-hour training offers RSE practitioners support in developing attitudes and strategies to create RSE classrooms where young people of faith and no faith can explore, and develop, within the complexity of their value systems. The session will focus on strategies and pedagogies, rather than on content directly outlining faith perspectives on RSE topics.

Cat was a secondary teacher, PSHE subject lead, regional RSE curriculum advisor, PGCE trainer and professional mentor. Cat has a wealth of experience working with young people, their families and faith communities in the Manchester city and beyond. Cat is passionate to support schools and their communities in the development of their RSE provision and relishes being part of the journey to celebrate and share best practice. Cat is an ambassador for LGBTQ+ rights, and champions gender equality in every sector. In her spare time Cat is a keen gardener, artist, hiker and cook.
