Training

Mental Health and Resilience

The Manchester Healthy Schools team is committed to providing training for schools in order to raise awareness about mental health and to equip staff with the skills required to be able to identify the early signs of mental stress and how to support a pupil in need.

Training has been developed to increase the confidence of staff in providing strategies to support a child in school. Training will also help staff to know how and when to access additional support from the community and other mental health services, including CAMHS.

Our universal training is available for all schools that have completed the Health Check.

Schools that have prioritised Mental health and Resilience this year will have access to a wider selection of 'in-house' training and support to ensure that they are able to make significant progress in this area.

Please find a full list of training available to support this area below.
