We are exploring the feasibility of secondary schools in Manchester adopting the Unplugged programme. We propose that Healthy Schools could offer schools: training, resources and ongoing support so that the programme could be implemented in your school effectively. The benefits of the programme are to reduce harmful substance misuse and offer students the opportunity to develop crucial life skills such as: critical thinking, decision-making, creative thinking, effective communication, relationship skills, self-awareness, empathy, and coping with emotions.
