This universal training aims to support teachers and other professionals in teaching young people about road safety while encouraging methods of active travel. Effective road safety education is not just about learning the rules, knowledge must be accompanied by understanding. This training looks to know the rules of the road, identify hazards and assess and manage risk. It also seeks to understand influences affecting behaviour and how we can best teach our children and young people to choose safer active travel.
Cost
This course is FREE of charge to Manchester schools who have completed the current Health Check. For schools outside of Manchester please contact healthy.schools@mft.nhs.uk for fees.
