The Safety Coaching programme is in it's pilot phase. It aims to teach children and young people with SEND the skills to keep themselves safe in the home and when out and about. The programme includes training for staff on effective safety education, a parents' workshop and a students safety coaching passport activity. The three elements are designed to be delivered alongside each other. This course is FREE of charge to Manchester schools who have completed the current Health Check. For schools outside of Manchester please contact healthy.schools@mft.nhs.uk for fees.
