This two-hour training course offers an introduction to mental health and wellbeing as well as providing an insight into some of the most common mental health problems. Participants will consider their own mental health in line with the mental health spectrum and reflect upon the health and well-being needs of their colleagues as well as the young people and families they work with. The concepts of risk and resiliency will also be explored within a Manchester context, as well as some frontline strategies for support.
This course is open to all staff who work within a school setting.
This course is free of charge to schools that have prioritised Mental Health and Resilience through the 2017/18 Health Check.
