This virtual twilight session will focus on effective teaching and learning strategies in PSHE Education. It will also include the impact of effective PSHE education, its place within the curriculum, Statutory 2020 RSE And Health Education Guidance, links with SMSC and safeguarding, meeting OFSTED expectations and more.
The session will help you to:
- consider how to implement PSHE Education and IMatter Resources using best practice principles
- recognise what learning and assessment opportunities best suit the learning objectives of the PSHE lesson
- develop a bank of resources and strategies for PSHE delivery
- feel confident to deliver sensitive topics such as RSE, Drugs and Alcohol and Mental Health

This course is suitable for primary, secondary and special school teachers new to delivering PSHE Education i.e. ECTs, trainees
